Batik Anara

HEPMIL where connection becomes a design

Some people believe in you before the world knows your name.

For me, one of those people was Stephanie Looi.

Before Batik Anara found its place in the corporate world, before the collaborations and recognition, Stephanie saw the potential in what we were building. She understood that batik could be more than fabric — it could become identity, storytelling, and brand expression.

When Hepmil Media Group approached us, the intention was clear. They did not want something conventional. They wanted something that genuinely reflected who they are.

As a company built on connection, culture, and creativity, HEPMIL brings brands closer to people through content that engages and entertains communities across Southeast Asia. That spirit became the foundation of our design.

The motif was inspired by movement, digital energy, and human connection. Structured lines reflected precision and strategy, while flowing pathways symbolised creativity, reach, and the invisible connections between people, ideas, and communities.

Every line carried intention. Every colour reflected boldness, relevance, and identity. It became more than a pouch or a corporate gift — it became a visual expression of what HEPMIL stands for.

For me, this project was deeply personal.

Because trust like Stephanie’s is never forgotten.

She believed in Batik Anara long before our name became recognised, and creating something meaningful for HEPMIL felt like a beautiful full-circle moment.

That is what matters most to me.

Not simply creating beautiful pieces, but creating work that carries meaning.

Because the best designs are never just seen.
